Welcome to Swipe Slip ("the Game"), a mobile game developed and operated by Cosmic Meta ("we," "us," or "our"). Our package name is com.cosmicmeta.games.swipeslip.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you download or use our mobile game on Android or iOS devices. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please stop using the Game.

This policy applies to all players of Swipe Slip and covers data collected through the Game, our leaderboard and cloud sync services, and any related features.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information (Google Sign-In)

Signing in with Google is optional. If you choose to sign in, we receive from Google the following information with your permission:

  • Display name
  • Email address
  • Profile photo URL
  • A unique Google Account ID (used as your player ID)

This information is used solely to identify your account, display your name on the leaderboard, and sync your progress across devices.

2.2 Gameplay Data

When you play Swipe Slip, we collect and store:

  • Levels completed and current progress
  • High scores and score history
  • Achievements unlocked
  • In-game statistics (total games played, playtime, coins earned, power-ups used, etc.)
  • Cosmetic items owned and equipped
  • Daily challenge participation and results
  • Login streak data

2.3 Device Information

For crash reporting and analytics purposes, we may automatically collect:

  • Device model and manufacturer
  • Operating system version (Android/iOS)
  • App version
  • Crash logs and stack traces (no personally identifiable information)
  • General performance metrics

2.4 Usage Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand aggregate usage patterns — which levels are played most, where players drop off, and how features are used. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized where possible.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Game and its features
  • Sync your game progress across devices when signed in
  • Display your score on the global leaderboard (using your display name)
  • Track and award achievements and daily challenge results
  • Identify and fix crashes and bugs
  • Analyze aggregate usage to improve gameplay and content
  • Enforce our Terms of Use and prevent cheating or abuse

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, nor do we use it for targeted advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

Swipe Slip integrates the following third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they process data:

  • Firebase (Google LLC) — Authentication (Google Sign-In), Cloud Firestore (data storage and sync), Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your gameplay data and account information are stored on Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure). Firebase applies industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

While we implement commercially reasonable security practices, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data may be stored on servers located in the United States or other regions where Google Cloud operates its infrastructure.

6. Children's Privacy

Swipe Slip is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below and we will promptly delete that information.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your gameplay data for as long as you have an active account with us. If you request deletion of your account and data, we will delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable timeframe (typically 30 days), subject to legal obligations.

To request deletion of your data, please contact us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your Google account.

Note: Deleting your account will permanently remove your leaderboard entries, achievements, and progress. This action cannot be undone.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
